Ismail Barakat

Biographical Note

Ismail holds a master’s degree in Science in Advanced Optical Technologies, focusing on the physics of light. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate in experimental physics and is expected to defend his dissertation in the field of experimental quantum physics. The title of his dissertation is ‘2D Quantum Measurements Through Multimode Optical Parametric Amplification’.

In the past, he worked as a TV broadcast systems engineer where he helped to design media systems. Now, he is looking forward to contributing to creative endeavors with the STGS chair as their media advisor, creating videos and films and helping their work and activities to become more visible, which also allows him to explore new disciplines in the humanities.
