We are celebrating the one-year anniversary of our international hybrid course:
Introduction to Science and Tech Diplomacy: the New Geopolitics of Technology. With 45 students and professionals from 16 countries and from almost all disciplines and levels, the course was the first of its kind in the German educational landscape.
The course consisted of an in-person Science & Technology Diplomacy Lab from the 09. to 11/10/2023 at the Friedrich-Alexander-University
Erlangen-Nürnberg. This was followed up with 10 weekly blended online lectures with 2 presenting experts in each session and a successful final project presentations on disruptive technologies by the participants.
We want to thank the 25 scholars and experts, who contributed to this great experience.
Furthermore, we would like to thank our partners:
- The Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU)
- EELISA European University
- Prof. Claudio Feijoo, the Jean Monnet Chair on Technology and Science Diplomacy for European Sovereignty (TechDip) and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM)
This project was made possible by the “Internationalization 2.0” funding program of the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts.
And a big “Thank you” to the Institut für Lern-Innovation (ILI) for creating this wonderful clip.
